To make money on the internet you need to enter, or turn on, your money mindset. For that to happen you will need to rid your mind of all it’s negative thoughts and emotions. This needs to be accomplished in order to raise your success threshold and help you climb above mediocrity.

All it takes is a small shift in your brain’s thought patterns to allow the new positive emotions to overwhelm any negativity or procrastination. You need to create new nerve pathways in your brain. Isolate a new thought such as, “I am going to invest in positve tactics in order to succeed on the internet” (the actual tactical investment will be explained on the next page). Practice these new tasks mentally for a few seconds each day before attempting them physically. Make sure you allot seconds and not minutes or hours to ensure you can afford the time every day. Repetition is important. Before long your brain’s chemistry will begin to change and your money mindset will dominate.  

Now we need to look at raising your success threshold. Imagine that you’re in a lake and above the surface is success territory and below the surface is success failure. If you’re currently not enjoying as much success as you would like, your head is just below the surface. You are stuck in something negative that’s holding you back. Your feet are stuck in the mud at the bottom, which is called general nature. To become unstuck you may need to apply EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques).

The simplest way to apply EFT is by using positive affirmations. This involves standing in front of a mirror and repeating a positive phrase for 5 minutes, such as, “I will earn $5,000 in six months” or “I will earn $7,000 on the internet by June”. Don’t make your affirmations too vague, such as, “I will earn money on the internet”. You need to set a goal, but it also needs to be realistic. An unrealistic goal would be, “I will earn $100,000 this month”.   

Another method is to write down the affirmation and place it in different areas of your home such as your bathroom mirror or kitchen cupboard where you will see it througout the day. And if negative thoughts are still creeping into your brain and fighting with your positive thoughts, here’s a way to dispose of them. Write down the unwanted thoughts and throw them in the trash.

Okay, now let’s look at your WHY. Your WHY is what actually makes you do something. WHY is either going to make you do something, or not do it. If you really want something strong enough, that is WHY you will make that move and do everything it takes to make money on the internet.  The more powerful WHY you have, the more powerful things you can do in your life.

The next time you have to do something and you ask, “WHY do I have to do this?” - come up with a great reason. “Because it’s going to enable me to make money on the internet and secure my financial future.” If you come up with a powerful enough reason it will propel you forward. Combine this with a money mindset and it will lay down a path to your success.
